A medical professional as well as Researcher, trained in broad based manner in clinical research environment, having over eleven years of experience in clinical area with two of the largest tertiary referral hospitals and with several leading hospitals in India and abroad & having over seven years of experience in the field of clinical research.

Currently he plays the role of the Managing Director for a rapidly growing Contract Clinical research organization; there he excels by partnering with various Domestic and International Pharma companies for their Phase-II, III, and Phase-IV trials and also doing Clinical Research / Pharma Consulting services.

Dr. V.T.S. Sriram has obtained a M.D degree from Madras Medical College and Govt General Hospital, Chennai, one of the premiere medical institutions of India. He did his M.B.B.S from Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai.

He has started his clinical career after his under graduation, with the Ministry of Health, Republic of Maldives, as a Medical Officer involved in running the medical, obstetrics Departments independently, he received the best doctor award for the year 2000, from the Health ministry of the country.

Clinical Research Practice

Having an undying thirst and having known the importance of clinical research in drug development, he opted for a post graduation in the field of Pharmacology, during which he underwent training in all facets of clinical trial activities. He gained experience in Phase-I, and III trials with one of the top most Indian Pharmaceutical companies, also he worked for D.RD.O projects. He is also experienced in bioassay techniques, conducting experiments using laboratory animals and creating animal models of human diseases.

Dr. V.T.S. Sriram has started his clinical Research career with one of the leading multinational C.R.Os of the country as a Clinical Investigator, where he was trained in clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Trial Management stringently. He faced many international regulatory audits during this tenure. After which he became In-charge Clinical Research with a well reputed Pharma company in Chennai, there he could set up procedures for clinical research, provided collaboration for hospital services, site identification, training of site staff and investigators pertain to Good Clinical Practice. He could set up a separate department for Clinical research. Then he held the role of Head-Clinical Research department cum Principal Investigator with one of the upcoming Contract Research organizations, Chennai, there, to his credit, he could establish the entire system for Clinical Research operations.

To summarize, Dr. V.T.S. Sriram, has an unyielding commitment to ethical values and has a sound knowledge of international regulatory guidelines, experience in submission of BA/BE trials to various international regulatories viz UDFDA,MHRA,MCC,ANVISA., experienced in managing more than 160 BA/BE trials as Principal Investigator, well versed in E3, E6 guidelines, designing and development of protocols and clinical study reports trained in total quality management for a diagnostic laboratory, experienced in phase II,III and IV trials, experienced in medical affairs
