The program contents would be covered in  4 months duration as three parts --

PART –I: Contact Sessions  – 10 Full Days

The course contains ten days of contact sessions held at the AU-KBC Centre, Anna University Chennai during which time experts in the field will give lectures giving broad coverage to all the topics, which the students will then read up during the distance learning  period. The exact  dates on which the contact classes will be held will be finalized in consultation with the selected candidates to suite their convenience.                                                        

PART –II: Distance Learning Sessions – 16 Weeks    

a. Students will be provided with study materials as decided by the experts taking classes during the Contact hours.

b. Queries raised by students will be resolved through e mail and chat.

c. Assignments, web based technical conferencing, quiz etc. will be held during the distance learning period

 After completion of above mentioned components, students will undergo hands on training in Apollo Hospitals (AHERF) for 5 days. The Interns will work as per the available trials in the areas of Cardiology/Diabetology/ Gateroenterology/Oncology/Medicine/Neurology/Paediatrics/Respiratory, etc.
