Duration of the Projects:  2 years.

Salary:                   

                                (P01 & P02) Rs. 18,000-35,000/-   

                                (R01) Rs. 8,000 - 18,000/-

                                (R02) Rs. 6,000 - 14,000/-

                                (D01) Rs. 4,000 - 8,000/-

Minimum Qualification:  

                                         (P01) Ph. D in Computer Science/Computational Linguistics/Linguistics or any subject with Knowledge in Natural Language Processing

                                         (P02) Ph. D   in Linguistics

                                         (R01) MS/M. Tech/ M Phil in Computer science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics or Equivalent      

     (R02) BE, B Tech, MCA, M. Sc in Computer Science /  MA in Linguistics or Equivalent       

     (D01) BCA/ B. Sc Computer science, BA Language / Linguistics or Equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:  

P01: Experience in Natural Language Processing (Natural Language Understanding, Machine Translation, Information Extraction/ Retrieval), Programming in one of the following languages: C, C++, Perl, Java.  Good Publications, Good academic Track record, Potential leadership qualities.

P02: Sound Knowledge in contemporary Syntax,  Semantics, Lexicography, Exposure to Natural Language Processing (Natural Language Understanding, Machine Translation, Information Extraction/ Retrieval). Good Publications, Good academic Track record, Potential leadership qualities.

R01: MS/M. Tech: Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing) related area such as Machine Translation, Natural Language Understanding, Application of Machine Learning in NLP, Statistical NLP, Experience with at least one of the following languages C, C++, Perl, Java Or in Related field  

M. Phil Linguistics: Syntax, Semantics, Morphology, NLP.

R02: B. E/B. Tech: Interest in NLP related area such as Machine Translation, Natural Language Understanding, Application of Machine Learning in NLP, Statistical NLP, Experience with at least one of the following languages C, C++, Perl, Java, Data structures. Or in Related field

M. A Linguistics: Syntax, Semantics, Morphology and Knowledge of Tamil /Hindi/English

D01: BCA/B. Sc Computer Science: Experience with at least one of the following languages C, C++, Java, Data structures, Data Structures

B.A: Linguistics/ Language (Tamil, Hindi, English)
