We are actively working on various WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) technologies. 802.11(a/b/g) and Hiperlan/2 are being taken as reference and modifications and enhancements are being tried out. BRAN, BRAIN and MIND projects are being closely studied.
Multiple Access Control methods for different traffic and QoS requirements are being studied, developed and simulated.
Parallel work on the physical layer of these is also being done.
