Research Topics in Cryptography and Network Security
The group is currently working on the following topics:

The language of formal groups has been applied to unify various cryptosystems
based on discrete logarithm problem. As formal groups have been classified,
one could develop many cryptosystems. Further, cryptanalytic attacks can
also be carried out simultaneously on several systems using this formalism.

FPGA and software implementation
of some cryptographic algorithms have been done in collaboration
with Communications group.
