The goal of this project is to develop and implement a model for Electronic Governance of Indian Universities. It consists of  deployment of a University WAN comprising  of a Leased-Line connection between the LANs in the two campuses that are separated by 15Kms, and then providing the e-g application over it. The network is fiber-based with a few hundred nodes on it ,and the software architecture is 3-tier browser-based. The services provided  would consist of Finance, Administration and Academic services, and the goal of the project is to make  all the aspects of the University governance fast, efficient, transparent and cost-effective in the long run.
